A demonstration in defence of women's rights and all discriminated social groups passed through the streets of Gdansk. This was the 20th time that women demanded equal rights and the fulfilment of election promises, including access to safe, legal abortion, a change in the definition of rape, equal pay or effective action against violence. The manifestation's slogan "Enough promises, time for action". A minute's silence was also held to commemorate the brutal rape and death of a 25-year-old Belarusian girl, Liza, in Warsaw on 25 February. The young girl died in hospital a few days after the assault.
