The play "King and Travis" staged and translated into Kurdish by Kurdish theater actors Deniz Ozer and Bahoz Ozsunar, is banned in many places where it is performed in Turkey. The play, which was banned without justification by the Governorship and District Governors, was staged for dozens of people at the Four Seasons Theater Hall in Ankara. Kurdish theater artists claim that their plays were banned on the grounds that "the play would be propaganda for an organization".
