Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is a festival celebrating the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar. It's one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture. In the Philippines, the Filipino and Chinese community usually celebrates the Spring Festival in Binondo, the Chinatown District of Manila. It is the world's oldest Chinatown in the world, established by the Spaniards in 1594.
