On December 6, 2023, Turkey experienced the biggest earthquake in its history in the Syrian border region. After consecutive earthquakes of magnitude 7.4 and 7.7, 10 provinces in the eastern region were affected. In Hatay, one of the provinces most affected by the earthquake, people came together for the 1st anniversary of the earthquake.
