Farmers' protest continues for the third day in Vilnius. Several thousand farmers came to the capital of Lithuania on approximately 1,300 tractors and other agricultural machinery, some of which were parked on the central Gediminas avenue.
Farmers demand to cancel obligations to restore perennial meadows, return the old order of using branded diesel fuel, cancel the increase of the excise tax on liquefied petroleum gas this year, solve the so-called milk crisis, refuse to expand protected territories and stop the transit of Russian grain.
