Free Azov rally in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war was held on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv. The relatives and friends of the Azov defenders demanded the release of the servicemen held by Russia in violation of international humanitarian law.
About 200 people gathered on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, which stretches along both sides of Khreshchatyk. Holding flags and placards, the relatives, friends and other concerned people who joined the rally called for the release of the soldiers, who have been in Russian captivity for a year and a half. The support march was organised by the families of the Mariupol defenders.
