Nearly a month after heavy rains caused a landslide near Yiu Tung Estate in Shau Kei Wan, the Government of Hong Kong said it would be several more months before the road can be opened. Additional work was required to secure loose debris and to stabilize the large boulders still hanging off the slope. With another typhoon nearing Hong Kong, some are concerned more damage could be coming to this area.
