In the sidelines of the ongoing United Nations General Assembly in New York, The President of Kenya William Ruto, after holding talks with Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that Ukraine will set up a grain hub at the port of Mombasa to address food shortage in East Africa. Kenya is relying on grain producing countries like Ukraine to supplement locally harvested wheat.
