Local and international rescuers are on their last strade of their mission in the village, Talat N’Yaaqoub, the epicentre of the disastrous Morocco earthquake and south of Marrakesh, as the “golden 72 hour” for rescuing the survivors have passed. Villages in the Atlas mountain area suffered the most from the earthquake. Family members of the victim accused the difficult access to the mountain area and the slow response from the government have obstructed the rescue effort.
