The Maunsell Forts are armed tower built at the Thames and the Mersey Estuaries during the Second World War to defend the United Kingdom. They have been built 1942 - 1943 for anti-aircraft defense and to report to London about the German aircraft. They are all named after the designer Guy Maunsell.
