The Victory Day of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany has long been privatized by the official Russian authorities. In the second year of the war with Ukraine, on the streets of Voronezh on this day, more and more nationalist symbols are mixed with Soviet ones. People walk around the city, have fun, sing patriotic songs and do not remember the essence of those terrible events to which May 9 is dedicated.
