Protest against homophobia in Dutch asylum centers held, in The Hague by Ana Fernandez / SOPA Images
LGBTQIA+ people, who had to become refugees due to militant homophobia in their home countries, face violence and humiliation every day and commit suicide due to a lack of protection and medical care in the refugee centers in the country. Because of this, the 'Rainbow Rights Activists' organization held a safety rally to demand protection and security for LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers. The protest took place at the International Gay Monument placed in The Hague.
