About 4,000 people from different communities and the city of Quito walked in the protest on Women's Day, demanding social security, and decent health care, remembering the women who have died of femicide, the kidnapped women who never returned home, and decent working conditions. The march began at Central University and ended with a ceremony at the house of culture.
