Millions of people around the world celebrate the annual Holi Hangámá Festival, also known as the Festival of Colours, which means the celebration of the arrival of Spring, a new beginning, and the triumph of the divine and the good. In The Hague, where the largest Indian population in Europe can be found, a big celebration took place in the multicultural Transvaal neighborhood, where participants throw brightly colored powder on themselves and at each other. The colors of Holi also symbolize the strength of the inclusive society in The Hague.
