Due to severe earthquakes in Diyarbakir, 7 buildings were completely collapsed and destroyed, a total of 407 people died and around 900 people were injured. After the earthquake, 45 thousand 149 buildings in Diyarbakır were checked. It has been determined that 1110 buildings, in which 8,284 families live, are heavily damaged, and these buildings will be demolished immediately. It was determined that 1044 buildings, in which 12 thousand 106 families lived, were moderately damaged, and 10 thousand 977 buildings were slightly damaged.
