Malnutrition is a recurring crisis in Niger, a landlocked West African country, where climate change, conflict and a fast growing population are all increasing the challenges when it comes to getting enough food. In 2022, 4.4 million Nigeriens were said to be in need of urgent humanitarian assistance.
