The Jarramplas, a Spanish tradition from the town of Piornal, Extremadura, where each year two residents of the town dress up as devils while the rest of the town attacks them with turnips. About 23 thousand kilos of turnips are used during the tradition, the origin is unknown but legend has it that it is a cattle thief who was sentenced by the people.
