On 6 January, the Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord, known in Poland as Epiphany, is celebrated in the Catholic Church. The colourful procession set off around noon from St Mary's Basilica in Gdańsk and reached the stable at Artus Court. At the end, the participants of the Epiphany procession sang beautiful Polish carols. Several thousand people took part in the march. The Revd Ireneusz Bradtke, rector of St Mary's Basilica, said a prayer with those present. Prayers were also offered for the late Pope Benedict XVI, as well as for Mayor Paweł Adamowicz, all deceased citizens of Gdańsk, and for those who died in the war in Ukraine.
