The Kaghati Kolope or ancient kite is the oldest kite in the world, aged 4 thousand years, based on historical discoveries found in one of the caves on the island of Muna, Southeast Sulawesi. All the constituent parts of this ancient kite are composed of materials derived from nature where the main ingredient is kolope leaves.
