On the same day that Prime Minister Rutte announced a strict lockdown in the Netherlands, in order to prevent the rapid advance of the Omicron variant, for the second year in a row, eight impressive lit sculptures have been placed around the city center of Nijmegen to cheer the people up. The new measures will remain in effect until January 14th.
