Iraqi volunteers from the Mosul Eye Foundation began planting thousands of trees in the war-ravaged city of Mosul, with the aim of greening Mosul and combating desertification, they planted the first 300 trees of acacia, cypress and lemon in the ground in a project aims to plant 5,000 trees throughout the northern city of Mosul, which is still suffering from the destruction and devastation caused by the war against ISIS.
