It snowed on the territory of Voronezh for a short time on November 19, said the head of the regional hydrometeorological center Alexander Sushkov.
The snow, which started on the morning of November 19 in Voronezh, almost immediately melted due to the high ambient temperature. It will be rainy in the city on Saturday.
From Tuesday frost without precipitation is expected. And by next weekend it will get warmer again.
Thus, the record snowfall will not affect Voronezh. Forecasters predict that up to 25% of the monthly rainfall per day is expected in Central Russia in the form of wet snow. It is assumed that this will be one of the strongest precipitation in the past 70 years, possibly a record.
