A person who travelled to Auckland for a Tangi (Maori funeral) had tested positive for covid-19 after they became symptomatic on their return to Christchurch on Sunday. The person lives in a household of six in the southeast of Christchurch, three of their children are now in a MIQ (managed isolation quarantine). Another person has tested positive in Christchurch today. Testing stations at two locations in Christchurch were busy with people wanting to be tested.
