Chhath Puja is a significant festival in northern India, primarily celebrated in Bihar, Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh and some part of Nepal. Devotees worship Surya Dev (Sun) during these days.
The white toxic foam and Hazardous floats and covers the Yamuna river which is caused by increased ammonia levels and high phosphate content in water.
