Hundreds of Sudanese people living in The Netherlands gathered at the Malieveld to protest against the military coup in Sudan. This week, the coup leader General Abdel Fattah Burhan dissolved civilian rule, arrested political leaders, and called a state of emergency. Thousands of protesters are on the streets of the capital demanding the return of civilian rule. In The Hague, the demonstrators marched to the Sudanese embassy, where they were shouting slogans against the military rule.
