A human centrifuge, the result of 20 years of developments in space physiology and medicine by the Jozef Stefan Institute, opened at the Planica Nordic Center, thus making Slovenia one of three members of the European Space Agency besides Germany and France that have a laboratory for biomedical research used in space exploration as well as on Earth.
