The flood situation is worsening in Munshiganj. Due to the heavy rain, the water level of the Padma River has risen which resulted in a flood. At least 1.5 million people have been affected, with homes and roads in villages flooded. Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) officials have reported, the flood situation in 15 northern and central districts due to the rise in the water level of the main rivers.
