Restrictions on movement of vehicles were imposed in some parts of Srinagar as Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), a separatist group in the Valley called for a strike to commemorate the death anniversary of JKLF founder Maqbool Bhat. Maqbool was hanged by Indian Government in New Delhi's Tihar Jail on February 11, 1984. JKLF's call for a strike and it’s the first by any separatist group since August 5, 2019, when the BJP-led Central government revoked Article 370 of the constitution. Meanwhile internet services were also snapped in Kashmir valley.
