Easter Island, also known as Rapa Nui, is an island in the Pacific Ocean belonging to Chile. The Island is famous for its moais and is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO with much of its territory within the Rapa Nui National Park. Its population is around 6,000 inhabitants.
