The Kyiv zoo is one of the oldest and largest zoological parks in Europe, begin of its activity on 1909. The zoo contains about 368 species of animals, including: birds, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, invertebrates and fish. Bison, Przhevalsky’s horses, zebras, giraffes, lions, Amur tigers, pelicans, flamingos, deer, a gorilla, wolves, and many other animals live here, as local media reported.
