Environmental activists from Extinction Rebellion movement remained at Oxford Circus after the Berta Cáceres pink boat was removed from police. Activists were in the junction blocking the streets and causing traffic disruptions before police move in to clear the Extinction Rebellion road blockades. Police have been arresting protesters that refuse to head to Marble Arch. Extinction Rebellion demands from the government direct actions on the climate, reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2025 and a peoples assembly.
