The Venezuelan government led by President Nicolas Maduro, for the second consecutive day, released 19 imprisoned political prisoners at the headquarters of the intelligence police in the city of Caracas on the afternoon of June 2. This measure seeks to reach an agreement with opposition parties to maintain an atmosphere of peace and seek to eliminate international sanctions to the Maduro government.
