The week was officially opened with the artwork 'Blijf dichtbij' (Stay Close), which invites people to reflect on the meaning of closeness when someone is terminally ill and life becomes fragile. A varied program of activities takes place around the sculpture and in the region, inviting people to learn about palliative care and the meaning of closeness in the final phase of life.
