Due to the recent rainfall in Germany, the water levels of the Rhine and Waal rivers have risen in the area of Nijmegen. The Waal river reached a water level of 13 meters, but according to the Rijkswaterstaat (the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management) is not a level to be concerned about.
