In the evening of the 2nd of October, pro-Palestine supporters gather at Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw to pressure the government to intervene in Israel's illegal interception and detention of the participants of the Global Sumud Flotilla. As emotions rise, the protesters defy the police and march through the streets of Warsaw to the Chancellery of the Prime Minster, the Polish Parliament, the Presidential Palace, and onward to the city centre. With over 40 vessels, the latest Global Sumud Flotilla to provide aid to Gaza and break Israel's naval blockade was one of the largest yet and set out from Barcelona in late August before being intercepted in early October. Among the participants were four Poles, Ewa Jasiewicz, Nina Ptak, Polish MP Franek Sterczewski, and Polish resident, Palestinian Omar Faris.
