Early in the morning of 10th August, Poland's armed forces, and those of allies stationed in the country, take part in a rehearsal in preparation for a parade on National Armed Forces Day on the 15th August. Soldiers muster as the sun rises over the Vistula River and march past grandstands prepared for dignitaries. The soldiers were followed by mechanised divisions travelling in tanks and a variety of armoured vehicles. Afterwards, Poland's deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, addresses a post-rehearsal press conference, where he is accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Wieslaw Kukula.
