Demonstrators in Manhattan protested outside the Summit NYC apartment. The demonstration was in response to an incident that occurred on April 7 where an individual upstairs in the apartment threw garbage, including feces, down at pro-Palestine protesters who were marching on the street. The individual in the building also threw a garbage bag from the building, which fell and broke a car windshield. Afterwards, the individual displayed an Israeli flag. According to the protesters, the brother of a tenant at the apartment threw the garbage from the building and the brother is wanted by the New York City Police Department. After the incident, Summit NYC terminated the apartment lease of the tenant.
