Supporters of Ukraine protest outside the US embassy in Warsaw by Neil Milton / SOPA Images
On the evening of the 3rd of March, Polish and Ukrainians demonstrated in front of the US embassy in Warsaw. In the wake of the contentious White House meeting between President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, activists gathered with placards and banners to protest what they feel was the shameful treatment of the Ukrainian official. Since coming to power earlier this year, Donald Trump has indicated he would push for a peace deal in the region, while also seemingly cutting Ukraine from the negotiations. Many believe this will materially favour Russia while it will also pressure Ukraine to sign a resources deal with the Trump administration.
