Last night, the Dutch government announced a relaxation of the Covid-19 rules for higher education, retail, contact professions, and sports, so this morning non-essentials stores could open again their doors but with some restrictions, the shops may remain open until 5 p.m. and with a maximum number of visitors per square meter. Saturday morning, people flocked in large numbers to shop for the first time since the hard lockdown started earlier in December before Christmas started.
