An initiative launched by Iraqi volunteers from the Mosul Eye Foundation to plant thousands of trees in the war-ravaged city of Mosul, with the aim of greening Mosul and combating desertification, they distributed 100 different trees to the houses of the old town of Mosul as part of a project aimed at planting 5,000 trees throughout the northern city of Mosul, which is still suffering from the destruction and devastation left by the war against ISIS.
