Feast Day of Guadalupe event in Wilkes-Barre, US by Aimee Dilger / SOPA Images
Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated every December 12 because it is believed Guadalupe showed herself to Juan Diego in Mexico. Locally a statue of Guadalupe spends a year in a families home, on the Feast day there is a procession from the home to the church where a mass is held.
