Vaccination against COVID-19 in Voronezh, Russia by Mihail Siergiejevicz / SOPA Images
The non-working day regime has been operating in the Voronezh region for a week. Early forced vacations for many became an excuse to go to the vaccination center, which now work seven days a week. The number of people wishing to be vaccinated against coronavirus has almost doubled over the past week.
In polyclinics, additional rooms for vaccinations are being opened, but this does not save you from queues. According to Rospotrebnadzor, an increase in the incidence rate among Voronezh residents over 65 years old was noted over the week. Now in the region, more than 45 thousand people are sick with coronavirus.
The regional health department believes that early school holidays and the introduction of a non-working day regime have helped to stem the sharp increase in the incidence, although the situation is still difficult.
Calling the clinic to call a doctor at home is now a problem. Doctors ask patients with a temperature of up to 38, if possible, to come to an appointment in the red zones of polyclinics on their own in order to reduce the load on the visiting teams. The townspeople are outraged, they say, what kind of isolation can we talk about then.
