The appeal charging Chile’s sitting president, Sebastian Piñera, along with former and current civilian, military and police authorities with crimes against humanity was finally sent to the ICC (International Criminal Court) in The Hague, on 29 April by the Baltasar Garzón International Foundation, the Chilean Human Rights Commission, the American Association of Jurists and the Centro di Ricerca ed Elaborazione per la Democrazia (CRED). In front of the ICC building the Chilean community gathered to show their support for former Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón.
