Due to the threat of the coronavirus pandemic, on March 15 President Vizcarra declared the national state of emergency and the suspension of the exercise of constitutional rights related to personal freedom and security, inviolability of the home and freedom of assembly and transit in the territory for 15 days. Currently, in Peru there are 416 registered cases and 7 deaths from Covid-19.
