The village of Abejar celebrate 'La Barrosa', an old ritual of uncertain origin. It is believed that it was celebrated with bulls during the first years and then later the Barrosa replaced them. Two 'Barroseros', who were carrying a symbolic bull, asking for money and sweets from their neighbours in the village. The festival was held on Saturday for the second time in history due to the depopulation of this Spanish village.
