Dhanjuri Leprosy Centre (DLC), located in Dinajpur in northern Bangladesh, provides diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and community outreach for people affected by leprosy across 13 sub-districts. Although leprosy is curable, it remains a neglected tropical disease and a global public health challenge. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Bangladesh continues to report more than 3,000 new cases each year, ranking among the countries with the highest leprosy burden worldwide.
