Dyngus Day is a traditional Polish holiday, but it’s also a time when the South Bend candidates traditionally campaigned for the office in the city since Indiana's primary election is in early May. The inside of the club was standing room only, and Buttigieg struggled to get past his crowd of supporters and some members of the media were not able to get into the building. The crowd of supporters stood inside, and after a few minutes Buttigieg exited, and was whisked away.
