The Crucifixion Rites of the Sto. Entierro in Mala by Josefiel Rivera / SOPA Images
Every Good Friday, the Malabon City town folks, especially the men, join a procession at 8:30pm to fetch the Sto. Entierro or the Señor from its owner's house to San Bartolome Church where it will be crucified at 9:00 am, the time when Jesus Christ was nailed on the cross. The replica is an antique wood carving, owned by the Guillen family of Malabon City.
