Pawel Adamowicz, the mayor of the Polish city of Gdansk, was assassinated on stage during the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, Poland’s most important charity. From January 17th, his coffin will be exhibited at the European Solidarity Center in Gdansk, where polish citizens will be able to pay their tribute to the President of Gdansk all night. The murder left Poland in shock and has raised questions about its deeply divided society.
