Peoples gather all around the country to commemorate and pay respect to the Mayor Pawel Adamowicz, In Warsaw thousands took part in the "March of Silence and light candles outside the Zachęta gallery where President Gabriel Narutowicz was assassinated from in 1922. Pawel Adamowicz, the mayor of the Polish city of Gdansk died after being stabbed several times on stage during the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, Poland’s most important charity on Sunday evening. The alleged assailant, a man from Gdansk with a record of violent crime, was released from prison last month. The assailant told the crowd he blames Adamowicz’s former political party Civic Platform for his jailing in 2014.
